Mathematician, artist and writer · President of Art-Tech · Artistic Director of WAIFF and WAICF
A mathematician, artist and writer, Diana Vicinelli Landi has spent many years exploring the territories where art, artificial intelligence and science meet. Holder of a State Doctorate in innovation, a former university professor and a futurist who worked with the Institute for the Future in California, she has been guided throughout her career by innovation, creativity and the study of cultural differences.
A mosaic artist, she entered the digital art revolution quite naturally: from the first generative-art experiments presented in Cannes to the immersive creations of Mare Nostrum and the RenAIssance project. President of Art-Tech, Artistic Director of WAIFF and WAICF and closely involved with the EuropIA Institute, she creates and organises multimedia shows and multicultural events, spots bold talents and brings artists and researchers together.
“Works of art speak to me: they tell me the story of their creators, their doubts, their moments of joy. Behind every work, beautiful stories are woven. I want to tell them and share them.”
Making the invisible visible · the artistic trail of the World Quantum Cannes Festival, Cannes, 17–18 November 2026
“Technology only makes artistic sense when it expands our imagination and reveals a deeply human emotion.”
Diana Vicinelli Landi, artistic director of the trail
An installation on six synchronised screens: a dive into the quantum nature of time, light and space.
An immersive mixed-reality work: entanglement, probability and the tunnel effect made visible in three chapters.
Two ways of looking at images and perception: Binary Eclipse and Quantum Apple by Franz Fischnaller, and self-awareness in the age of machines with Shaohan Cui.
Photometry, PlastiScape, ZooScan: when scientific imaging and AI reveal what escapes the naked eye.
Understanding the second quantum revolution: bit, qubit, entanglement, and CINECA’s hybrid computing.
